In November 2025, Jonathan Brace, Director of Brace’s Bakery Ltd and a long-standing client of 2c Machines Ltd, asked us to sell his 6,000 loaf-per-hour bread plant and remove it from the factory premises within a four-month timeframe.

As the sole selling agent for the plant, we immediately began marketing it worldwide. This generated strong interest from the UK, Europe, and beyond, resulting in the successful sale of the entire plant to a company near Johannesburg, South Africa.

On 5 January 2026, we commenced the removal process. Given the tight timescale, our engineers worked seven days a week to make rapid progress and stay ahead of schedule.

With no room for error or delays from external factors, we insisted on coordinating the entire project in-house. This included the provision of hired-in plant, machinery preparation for shipping, loading, and the shipping of the plant to South Africa.

In total, 45 containers and 6 abnormal loads were dispatched from the UK to the port of Durban.

Finally, we carried out various dilapidation repairs to the factory as per the client’s requests and specifications.

On 27 February 2026, we handed the site back with all machinery removed. The factory was left in pristine condition, and all waste, rubbish, and scrap had been cleared from the site — one day ahead of schedule.
